# 2019 CBJJF Alberta Provincial Open

## Overview

**Description:** All CBJJF Tournaments follow IBJJF rules. *Please visit www.IBJJF.org/rules for more information.*

Registration is open to ages 5 and up (all belt and skill levels).

**Youth (Kids and Juveniles) Competitors*:**- Includes Gi and No Gi Divisions
 - Two fights guaranteed for each athlete
 - If registered for**both**Gi and No Gi, athletes must register for the same weight class
 - If registered for**both**Gi and No Gi, athletes must weigh in**once**wearing Gi & Belt
 - If registered for No Gi only, competitors must weigh in wearing No Gi attire
 - Weigh in no earlier than 3 hours before scheduled matches
 - 2 lbs allowance provided at weigh-in.

Please ensure to register your child at their accurate weight! *In fairness to all Youth Competitors, athletes over 2 lbs allowance will be disqualified.*

**Youth athletes should be registered for the appropriate division using their age as of the date of the tournament.*

**Adult and Master Competitors:**- Includes Gi Divisions only
 - Female Adult and Masters athletes guaranteed two matches
 - Male Adult matches are single elimination
 - Weigh in no earlier than 3 hours before scheduled matches
 - 0 lbs allowance provided at weigh-in. *Failure to make weight will result in disqualification.*

**Adult and Masters Absolute:**- Competitors must medal in their division to sign up for Absolute
 - Available to blue, purple, brown and black belt only

**Registration Fees:**

Youth (One Division - Gi or No Gi):
Early-Bird Registration (March 5 to March 19): $50 per athlete
Normal Registration (March 20 to April 12): $65 per athlete
Late Registration (April 6 to April 19): $75 per athlete
Youth (Two Divisions - Gi and No Gi)
Early-Bird Registration (March 5 to March 19): $80 per athlete
Normal Registration (March 20 to April 12): $95 per athlete
Late Registration (April 6 to April 19): $105 per athlete
Adult and Masters:Early-Bird Registration (March 5 to March 19): $80 per athlete
Normal Registration (March 20 to April 12): $95 per athlete
Late Registration (April 6 to April 19): $105 per athlete

**Refunds & Credits:**
 - Full refunds are available until April 12th
 - A credit to a future event is available from April 13th to April 24th
 - No refunds or credits are available after April 24th

**IMPORTANT NOTE:**Tournament Registration closes April 19th, or until 650 registrations have been reached.
