# 2025 Canadian Nationals Jiu Jitsu Tournament

**Description:** The CJA is
pleased to announce and introduce to everyone to the Canadian National Jiu
Jitsu Championships.

Jiu Jitsu Championships. Each year this event grows with high stakes on the line. Over 600 competitors registered for this event last so don’t wait to register!!!

This tournament, like for many other sports, will qualify the best Jiu Jitsu athletes in the country for each division. The U16, U18, U21 , Adults and Masters (35+) will represent Canada in Bankok, Thailand. From November 1st, to November 15th. For more information on the JJIF, please visit www.JJIF.sport

For those not familiar, Canada has been taking teams to this event for since 2017 (2020 excluded) and  In July 2022 we also had 2 athletes compete at World Games in Birmingham, Alabama USA with Vicky Hoang bringing home our very first World Games Gold Medal and Michael Sheehan winning the bronze medal.2023 at the World Combat Games in Saudi Arabia, Nathan Dos Santos captured Bronze in his division.

The Canadian Nationals Jiu Jitsu Tournament will have regular divisions and qualifier divisions.

All Jiu Jitsu Practioners, from all nationalities, are welcome to attend and compete in the regular divisions.

For Qualifier Divisions, a canadian passaport is required. Please see "Qualifier Divisions" and "Qualifier Process" Tab for more info.

**NON-QUALIFIER DIVISIONS***(Open to ALL)*

Event is sanctioned by Ontario Jiu Jitsu Association. All athletes are required to have a valid OJA membership or SASK BJJ membership.( if you reside in Saskatchewan)

KIDS Ages 4-15

Early Bird Price (until March 31st): $50+tax

Regular Price (until May 15th): $80+tax

Late Registration (until June 4th) $99+tax

U18, U21, Adult, Master

**SPECTATORS FEE**

$10 per person (cash, paid at the door)

All spectators are welcome to attend the event

**WEIGH-INS**

ALL Weigh-Ins will take place at SAVE MAX CENTRE

For Nationals, THERE ARE NO ALLOWANCE.

Male Competitors: Shorts and Tshirt

OPTION 1:
     Saturday, June 7th - 5:00 to 7:00 pm

    Sunday, June 8th - Just prior to your division start time

        Competitors must weigh-in with GI ON
