**Description:** 2025 Philippine Gi and No Gi  Novice Championships dedicated to our valued white belt students new to the sport.  Gold Medalist in previous BJJFP events  and Judo Black belts are not allowed  to compete . This is a long running event and many of our top competitors started off competing in this competition .  IBJJF rules apply accept no straight footlocks allowed.

**DATE::Start  11 .30 am , Jan 25**, Gi and No Gi Matches . Please be at the venue by 10am.

The JJFP Kids competition will start before the Novice competition. Please be  there an hour before your match schedule.

 ELIGIBILITY  :  NO White belts that have won Gold in a previous BJJFP comp.s Judo  Black belts and National Team Wrestlers.  Note : If a competitor has won Gold in a  BJJFP  GI comp  but not in No Gi they can compete in No Gi and vice versa. If you have won Gold in a BJJFP with no opponent you are still eligible to register in the Novice Competition . No Amateur or Professional MMA Fighters .

**RULES: IBJJF rules apply ; Exception no straight footlocks or any leg attacks allowed in the Novice Competition.**

WEIGHIN : Before your 1st match on the Competition day

**Novice Ultimate Takedowns**Gi  (White Belts ) will be held on the Sunday October 22.  Rules are based on the Fighting System of JJIF  this comp is designed to find the best takedown competitors that can compete in the JJIF  Ju Jitsu Fighting system .

**Take down scoring**:  Match time 3 minutes , Advantage 1 point , Takedown with 3 second stabilization 2 points  after scoring competitors will restart from standing .  An Athlete that scores three 2 point takedowns is declared the winner .  Penalties add one point to the opponent , disqualification on the 4th penalty.

**Registration dates and fees :**

Early bird registrations 20 Oct - 05 Jan  P1995 Before  Sunday Feb 18 deduct  P1000 for Gi & No Gi  - Absolute P600

Normal registration :  05 Jan - 19 Jan : P2200  deduct P800  for both Gi & No Gi  - Absolute fee P600

Late registrations 19 Jan - 22 Jan 05 , P2500 deduct  P700 for both Gi & No Gi  - Absolute P700

**CORRECTIONS**:  Wednesday  before the event  , you can self edit your entry on Smoothcomp on and before the deadline in your registration profile.

**Brackets and Mat Schedule :**will be released on Tuesday before the event , brackets and schedule will updated as registrations are finalized. The schedule will be released Wednesday before the competition

All Competitor must create their own Smoothcomp account using their email address including Team Entries that are making direct deposits.  From this account they can see the brackets match schedule and edit or make changes to their entry.

**METHODS OF PAYMENT**: Registrations can
not be processed until payment is received

completed. Incomplete registration will be removed once teh Deadkine has been meet:

**Competition Information:**

. All Competitors to be at the venue  at least one hour prior to the match schedule.           Masters , Juniors and Children competitors  please bring an ID with date or birth details.

**- What  to wear**: All rash Guards shoiuld be 10 % white in colour , Gi s should be Navy Blue , Black or White

- Weigh in for Gi and  or No gi  will be before your 1st match
