# 2026 Great Lakes Open > Competition in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada | August 08, 2026 – August 09, 2026 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** The Great Lakes Open welcome and invite all Jiu-Jitsu academies to participate in this tournament. **THIS EVENT IS A PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!** This event will be GI for Kids/Teens (4 to 15 yrs old) GI and NoGI for Juvenile/Adults/Masters (16+ yrs old) Divisions will be for all ages (starting at 4 yrs old), belts and weight classes WEIGH-INS Friday, 7AUGUST: 6:00pm - 8:00pm (Adult & Kid Division Changes will be permitted at this time) Saturday, 8AUGUST: 7:00am - 8:00am (Kid Division Changes will be permitted at this time) Saturday, 8AUGUST: 1 hour before division start time (No Division changes permitted) Competitors (Kid, Juvenile & Adult) that miss weight after the early weigh-in opportunities will be disqualified. Event is sanctioned by Ontario Jiu Jitsu Association.
