Players will be placed in the next division available if they exceed the weight they have registered in. ON DATE WEIGH-IN OPTION 1 ( Event Day) Date: Saturday, October 26th , 2024 Place: Richmond Olympic Oval - 6111 River Rd, Richmond, BC V7C 0A2 Time: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m Athletes have to attend the weigh-in at the time given according to the event's deadline. Players will be placed in the next division available if they exceed the weight they have registered in. ON DATE WEIGH-IN OPTION 2 - BEFORE YOUR 1st MATCH Before his/her first fight, the athlete will check his/her weight. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make his/her weight, they will be immediately disqualified. Reasonable time will be given, therefore being late will not be tolerated. ADCC Opens are for all competitors - kids through masters, beginner through advanced, from any country. You do not need to qualify to compete in ADCC Opens. Registered competitors who are unable to compete due to illness, injury, or bereavement may request credit toward a future tournament up to 5 days prior to registration closing. Refunds will only be offered if we are not able to find you a suitable match, meaning registration fees are non-refundable. Kids (up to age 12): 4 minutes Teens and juveniles (age 13-17): 5 minutes Adults: 6 minutes Masters: 5 minutes Spectator tickets: $20 Spectator tickets will only be available at the door (cash only) **Close outs:**Teammates, friends, etc not having a real match if they meet in a bracket. **Sandbagging:**Signing up for a lower skill level or younger age group (masters signing up for adult is permitted). Please notify us if you see a competitor you suspect is sandbagging. Doing either of these may result in a permanent ban from all ADCC events, even on the first offense.
