Rules and Regulations:

We have modified kids divisions (non standard weight classes) and for Adult use the standard IBJJF categories. For all competition matches IBJJF rules are applied. Also for the absolute division. The Absolute Pro division will be 8 minutes not the standard 10, please note. Above applies for Gi and No-Gi Divisions.

Gi:
Any color (or combination) is acceptable, and you can wear a rashguard under the gi, up to you. Material for Gi jacket cannot be made of Ripstop.
Length should be in accordance with IBJJF regulation.

No-Gi:
Man:               Shorts/Spats and/or rashguard (rashguard is not mandatory)
Ladies:           Shorts/Spats and rashguard or fight brah

Weight:
Weigh in will be in the Gi with belt and No-Gi in your fighting attire, times to be confirmed. Weight allowance is 500grams. If you are overweight more than 500 grams you will be moved into a higher weight category, or DQ.

FAQ: Why am I in a higher age group bracket then my current age?

Answer: We follow IBJJF competition age settings in Smoothcomp. Smoothcomp will determine in which groups you can compete based on the age filled in your Smootchcomp profile. If you want to compete in a higher age bracket this is possible with OK from coaches, parents and competitor. Please email signup@afg-open.com.

FAQ: Why am I moved to a higher weight class then what i signed up for?

Answer: In case you signed up for a bracket, and no one else did, we will move you up to the next weight class. If there is also no one available we will contact you if you want to go in a higher weight class. In any case if you decide not to fight outside your weight class, please contact us and we will give a full refund (minus transaction cost)

เรามีการปรับเปลี่ยนหมวดของเด็ก
 (หมวดน้ำหนักที่ไม่เป็นมาตรฐาน) และสำหรับผู้ใหญ่จะใช้หมวดตามมาตรฐาน
IBJJF สำหรับการแข่งขันทุกรายการจะใช้กฎของ IBJJF รวมถึงสำหรับหมวด
Absolute Pro ที่จะเป็นเวลา 8 นาที ไม่ใช่มาตรฐาน 10 นาที
