Same weight categories as Adults. Same weight categories as Adults. The athlete’s birth year is considered during registration; the actual age is not taken into account. An athlete may register in only one weight category (double registration in two weight categories is prohibited), but participation in two age divisions is allowed. If a weight category has fewer than three registered athletes, it will be merged with the next category until the minimum of three competitors is reached. The organizers reserve the right to reassign athletes to appropriate divisions to prevent highly skilled competitors from participating in beginner-level categories. Beginner athletes (less than 2 years’ experience in grappling, BJJ, judo, sambo, freestyle, Greco-Roman, or other wrestling disciplines) may NOT include: Athletes with 2–4 years of experience in grappling, jiu-jitsu(children: grey/yellow belts; adults: blue/purple belts),MMA, judo, sambo, freestyle, Greco-Roman, and other wrestling styles. Athletes with more than 4 years of experience in grappling, jiu-jitsu(children: orange/green belts; adults: brown/black belts),MMA, judo, sambo, freestyle, Greco-Roman, and other wrestling styles. If an athlete is registered in an inappropriate level, they will be disqualified.
