# American Grappling Series - Jiu-Jitsu Spring Open

**Description:** Hosted at St. John's Prep High School - 72 Spring Street, Danvers, MA

This event is open to all Jiu-Jitsu Practitioners who are looking to get matches in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere

This event will be sharing space with a Judo tournament. Two mat areas will be set up on the far side of the gym. Please note there will be a specator fee.

For one division the cost is $55 and $95 for two divisions (can be a combination of gi and/or nogi divisions) if you register before March 26th

For one division the cost is $75 and $130 for two divisions (can be a combination of gi and/or nogi divisions) if you register after March 26th. The last day to register is March 30th at 11:59pm EST

All coaches may submit their athletes' official weights to avoid additional trips to the academy and make the best use of athletes' and family's time. OR you can weigh in the night before at St. John's Prep.

Please note: Any athlete whose weight in question will be asked to step on a scale and they must be within 5% of their declared weight. Failure to meet that will be disqualified from the event with no refund given.

The tournament will be divided by division with a tentative schedule of events being released the Monday before the event then the final schedule will be released the Friday before the event. 

Please note we will do GI divisions first then NOGI divisions per age category.

We will do our best to accommodate every athlete to get the most matches possible and to avoid teammates fighting in the first round. During registration, you will be asked if your division is uncontested what would you like us to do in regards to placement within another bracket.
