About This Event
The Vancouver International Open is a Gi and No Gi IBJJF style tournament. Open to ages 5 and up, all belt and skill levels.
Kids and female adult / masters are guaranteed two matches. Male adult and masters are single elimination.
Weigh-ins are held the same day of the event and you can weigh in no earlier than 3 hours before your scheduled match time. Weigh ins for gi are done with the full gi and belt on. Kids are allowed a 2 pound allowance. Adults and Masters must make weight. Due to the large number of competitors we are unable to move people around the day of the tournament due to being over their weight class.
If you are competing in gi and no gi you need to register for the same weight class for both. You only weigh in one time and that is for your gi event.
Early registration fees: $50 for youth divisions, $65 for adult and masters
After Oct 31 fees are: $70 for youth divisions, $85 for adult and masters
Register in a second event for only $30.
Full refunds up until Dec 2, full credits from Dec 2 until Dec 6.
