# Combat Sports Report Phoenix Invitational II > Competition in Tempe, Arizona, United States | June 08, 2024 – June 09, 2024 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Date: Saturday, June 8th Time: 1:30pm-8:00pm Venue: The Battleground Gym Address: 1140 W Alameda Dr suite 1, Tempe, AZ 85282 The Combat Sports Report is hosting 4 Different, 8 Person No-Gi Tournaments. All tournament champions will be awarded $1000 Cash each and a Combat Sports Report Tournament Champion Rashguard! All competitors will be gifted 4 general admission spectator tickets as part of their registration. Give them away or sell them all and compete for FREE! There are NO Entry Fee Refunds! All 8 Person Tournament Matches will consist of a: 7 minute regulation period. During the regulation period no formal points will be awarded; however, the judge will be scoring the match in its entirety based on the Judging and Scoring Criteria (see Rules tab). Upon expiration of the regulation period, should no submission occur, the referee will render a decision and the winner will advance. The tournament is single elimination; but, should a match winner be unable to advance the referees and judge will collaborate to chose an eliminated fighter to return to the competition as a replacement. The tournament champion will be awarded $1000 cash. Each weight class has specific weight limits, and fighters must meet these limits during the official weigh-ins before their bouts. The CS/R Phoenix Invitational will be held in 5 Weight Classes: Early Bantamweight Division - 139.9.lbs limit Featherweight Division - 149.9lbs limit Cruiserweight Division - 169.9lbs limit Middleweight Division - 189.9lbs limit Late Bantamweight Division - 139.9lbs limit There is no 1lb allowance! The above weights are official! Fighters typically do not undergo a weight-cutting process before the weigh-ins to meet their division’s limit. However, weight-cutting practices are allowed. Extreme weight-cutting practices that bring about concerns regarding fighter safety are not allowed. (Timeline Subject To Change!) A: Each competitor is allowed 1 corner. . . Q: What is the start time? A: Weigh ins are same day and begin promptly at 3:00pm. 4:00pm will be the bell time for the first match. . .
