**Description:** Join us for an unforgettable 8-day Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Retreat in Jaco, Costa Rica, led by Professor Sydney Machado. Train daily in paradise while surrounded by nature, surf, and community. This all-inclusive retreat combines world-class BJJ instruction, restorative wellness experiences, and the adventure of Costa Rica’s Central Pacific — designed for all belt levels who want to deepen their practice and recharge in a tropical setting. 5th Degree Black Belt Starting at a young age, Sydney Machado trained under Master Alexandre Soca Freítas and quickly developed a passion for competitive Jiu-Jitsu.

Throughout his career, Machado has achieved numerous accolades, including multiple gold medals in prestigious competitions like the Union Cup, Helio Gracie Cup, and Teresopolis. He has also earned several medals in IBJJF events and has competed at the highest levels of Jiu-Jitsu, including the World Cup and ADCC. Jaco Jacó is a popular district in Costa Rica, known for its black sand beach and surfing opportunities. It's located near several national parks and offers various activities like ATV tours, horseback riding, and snorkeling. The climate is humid and tropical, with distinct dry and wet seasons.
