# DC JIU JITSU - In house round robin (GI) > Competition in Geelong, Victoria, Australia | February 24, 2024 – February 25, 2024 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** DC JIU JITSU In-House Gi Round Robin. 5 minute rounds. 4 person divisions. Winner by IBJJF points with a 'Golden points or first to score' overtime round if there is a points tie following regulation time. We are stoked to bring our students and affiliated students a fun in-house round robin competition, hang out, BBQ and a friendly comp Please make sure you read through all the information and if you have any questions contact Dan Cherubin messenger, email or phone. This is open to recreational and competitive students and is a great opportunity to build some competition experience. If at any point you need to withdraw due to illness or other reasons please let us know so we can remove your registration. WHITE BELT / BLUE BELT / PURPLE BELT (male and female ages 14 years +) Round robin format. 4 people per division, closest in weight. Winner determined by IBJJF rules. 5 minute matches. If there is a tie at the end of regulation time, we will run a 'first to score / golden points ' overtime round. the students that scores first wins the round. IBJJF rules for legal techniques at each belt. Medals will be given for first and second place. You can win your fight by submission or points. If there is no winner following the 5 minutes an overtime round starting from the feet will take place with the win going to the competitor who is first to score following IBJJF rules. Points for each round are as follows: Win by submission - 3 points Win by points - 2 points Win in 'first to score' overtime - 1 points Loss - 0 points At the end of all rounds points are tallied up and whoever in the bracket has the most points is the winner.
