## Overview

**Description:** This edition of Émergence will take place on March 15, 2026, at the Centre des loisirs de Saint-Laurent.

The event is open to juvenile and adult athletes (16 years and older) and uses the official categories of the Fédération québécoise de jiu-jitsu brésilien. Competitions will be held in gi and no-gi.

All profits generated by the event will be fully reinvested in supporting the mission of Horizons Tatamis with youth aged 12 to 25.

Matches will follow the IBJJF ruleset, as applied by the FQJJB.
All matches will have a duration of 5 minutes, for all categories.
The competition format is double elimination, guaranteeing a minimum of two matches per athlete.
Referee decisions are final.

Weigh-ins will take place on the day of the event.

First aid services will be present on site throughout the event.
The liability waiver is signed electronically through the Smoothcomp platform at the time of registration.
