# Enigma Austin | $1,000 Middleweight Round Robin Tournament > Competition in Austin, Texas, United States | April 04, 2025 – April 06, 2025 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Official sign up for the $1,000 middleweight round robin tournament at Enigma 23 We will host a men's middleweight round robin tournament on Saturday, April 5th that will pay out $1,000! It is open to all belts/ranks, meaning anyone can register regardless of their competition experience. **THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR REGISTRATIONS** SCHEDULE: Matches will begin at 5 PM starting with superfights. A full match order will be announced as we get closer to the event. WEIGH INS: Competitors will be allowed to weigh in from 6-8 PM the night before the tournament (Friday) or on the day of the event (Saturday) from 12-3 PM. There is no 1 lb allowance. RULESET: Tournament matches will be 6 minute submission only matches. The final will be 10 minutes. If time expires with no submission, the match will result in a judge's decision based on aggression and close submission attempts. PGF style stalling rules will be enforced. LEGAL TECHNIQUES: All submissions are allowed. The only thing you CANNOT do under any circumstance is slam. FORMAT: We will have 10 athletes total in the tournament. There will be two sides of the tournament (5 athletes on each side). Each side will be a round robin bracket where everyone has four matches against every other athlete on their side. We will be counting PGF points throughout the brackets (2 points for a win via decision or disqualification, 3 points for a joint lock, 6 points for a choke and 1 additional point if the submission comes in one minute or less). The top point scorer on each of the sides at the end of the brackets will advance to the final where they will face off for the $1,000 prize! SPECTATORS & COACHES: We will be selling spectator tickets for $25 pre-sale and $35 on the day of the event. Coaches of tournament competitors will receive a coach pass. STREAMING: The event will be streaming live and exclusively on www.enigmajiujitsu.tv for only $6.99. Please note that any photography and/or video recording is prohibited at the event and will result in being removed from the venue.
