## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** Final Kumite is an 8 persons bracket style event in Brighton. This edition is open to all white blue belts and purple belts: up to 100 kg for male brackets and up to 75kg for female brackets. Weight is without the Gi.

It is a hybrid Gi/NoGi tournament. It means that competitors need to be prepared for both and style will be randomly decided just before the start of each match.

It will follow standard IBJJF rules for white , blue and purple belts with following exceptions:

- Wristlock submissions are allowed at white belt

- significant submission attempt is scored 2 points

- advantages are awarded 1 point and penalties give 1 point to the opponent.

-all leglocks are allowed on purple belt level (apart from heel hooks in GI)

- guard jumping is  NOT ALLOWED at any level

Event will take part at Brighthelm Centre,  North Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 1YD
