Weigh-Ins: 7:00 AM Matches Start: 8:00 AM Franklin Jr. High Event Center 4801 Franklin Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa Weigh-In and Match Start Times To Be Announced Closer to Event. $15 admission for anybody who is not competing. Kids and Teens 15 years and under are free. Register by**December 27th**at 11:59 PM:**$89** Register by**January 17th**at 11:59pm:**$109** Register by**January 31st**at 11:59pm:**$129** **PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!**We**DO NOT**accept**l**ate registrations or registrations the day of the event! https://www.subspectrumbjj.com/open-rules All weight divisions with**4 or more competitors**will utilize a**Double Elimination**format. Athletes will compete for 3rd place (no double bronze) All weight divisions with**2 competitors**will operate under a**Best-of-three**format. All weight divisions with**3 competitors**will utilize a**Round Robin**format. Competitors will only need to weigh in once if you are competing in multiple divisions and you**WILL NOT**be required to weigh in wearing your gi. Weigh-ins will be available on**the day of the event at 7:00 AM.**We ask that competitors are weighed-in 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for your first division. Competitors will be required to wear clothing (t-shirt and shorts) while weighing in. You**WILL NOT**be allowed to disrobe or "strip" to your underwear, so please plan accordingly. Because competitors are required to weigh in clothed, there will be a**2 LBSALLOWANCE**to account for the weight of your clothing. Competitors will not be allowed to switch divisions the day of the event. All changes and edits to your registration must be made by the edit/change deadline on**Thursday February 1st at 11:59 PM**. Competitors lists will be available to view throughout the registration period on the "Registrations" tab of the event page. If you do not see anybody registered for your division - register anyways! In the event that we are not able to place you in a fair division, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration credit to a future event. Event brackets and schedule will be available to view on the event page (Brackets and Schedule tab) no later than**12:00 PM Central on February 1st.** Brackets and Schedule will be available to view on television screens set up at the event, as well as on your mobile device! You will have until**11:59 PM on Thursday February 1st**to make any necessary changes to your registration. Changes to your registration can be made by logging into your account and editing your registration details. After this time, you will not be able to make any changes or edits to your registration. 1st (Gold), 2nd (Silver), and 3rd (Bronze) Place medals will be awarded for each division! Results will be updated LIVE throughout the event and displayed on the "Result" tab of the event page! Full refunds will only be issued for registrations cancelled before the end of the Normal Registration period (until**11:59 PM on January 17th)** Full credits will be issued for registrations cancelled during the Late Registration period and up until the edit/change deadline (until**11:59 PM on February 1st**) Following the edit/change deadline (**11:59 PM on February 1st**), no refunds or credits will be issued. You can receive full refunds or credits by logging into your Smoothcomp account and cancelling your registration before the necessary deadlines listed above. You**do not**need to email or message us to inform us that you are cancelling your registration. There will be a professionally trained and certified medic on sight for the event. The Medic will be available for competitors to receive ice, evaluation, and advice in the event of an injury. We are always in need of experienced referees and event staff to assist with the event!
