# Icon Atlantic Canadian Teams Championships

## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** The teams will be blue and purple belts and there will be no weight divisions. We already have our 6 teams spots filled for the event, which will be Jake Mackenzie School of Jiu-Jitsu, Icon Combat, Knots, Porters Lake BJJ, MarMac, and Synergy/TruroBjj. The team to secure three wins in each phase will accumulate points in their group, and the top two teams will advance to the finals for a $1000 dollar cash prize and team trophy. We will be utilizing the official AJP rules for the competition and will have a former IBJJF and AJP Referee as head ref of the event. The event will start at 6:00pm, and we are looking forward to showcasing another great event here in the maritimes.
