# IPA Grapple Cup VII - 2025 Part 4

## Overview

Doors open at 8am.

Competition starts at 9:30am.

This tournament is pre registration only! We will not take any registrations at the event.

The tournament is limited to 160 registrations.

Each division is limited to 16 registrations. (That also includes Absolute Divisions)

All registrations run through smoothcomp.

Normal Registration (until October 1st 11:59pm): 25€

Late Registration (until October 8th 11:59 pm): 35€

Normal registration (until October 1st 11:59pm): 40€

Late registration (until  October 8th 11:59pm): 50€

**Open Class**

We are trying our best to guarantee every competitor at least two fights! If a division has only 2 fighters, we will let them fight in a best of 3, and give both fighters a 50% refund.

Divisions with 3 fighters will be put in a**round robin**bracket.

Divisions with over 3 fighters will be put in a**double KO**bracket with the losers final being for the bronze medal.

All Adult Divisions will be split into two tiers of experience and skill.

**Beginner**Fighters with less than 2 years of grappling experience or not yet graduated to a BJJ Blue Belt/ Luta Livre Blue Belt/ Judo Brown Belt.

**Advanced**Fighters with more than 2 years of grappling experience or graduated to at least a BJJ Blue Belt/ Luta Livre Blue Belt/ Judo Brown Belt.

**Youth Female Weight Divisions**-120lbs (54,4kg) / -140lbs (63,5kg) / -155lbs (70,3kg)

**Youth Male Weight Divisions**-140lbs (63,5kg) / -155lbs (70,3kg) / -170lbs (77,1kg) / -185lbs (83,9kg)

**Adult Female Weight Divisions**-135lbs (61,2kg) / -155lbs (70,3kg) / +155lbs (70,3kg)

**Adult Male Weight Divisions**-145lbs (65,8kg) (Beginner only)**/**-155lbs (70,3kg) / -170lbs (77,1kg) / -185lbs (83,9kg) / -205lbs (93,0kg) / +205lbs (93,0kg)

**The open class will be split into one male and one female division and combine all skill  and weight divisions.**

Fights will be 4 minutes long.

All fights will be scored by using the IBJJF Scoring System without penalties or advantages.

Fight duration is 6 minutes

We use the IBJJF Point Scoring System without any penalties or advantages. Points will only be counted in the second half of the fight. The first 3 minutes will have no points.

If the scores are tied at the end of the fight, we will go into 1 round of EBI-Overtime (3min max)

We give full refunds to everybody, that cancels at least 7 days before the event starts.

The last chance to cancel, at the registration deadline, is also your last chance for a 50% refund.

**If we cannot provide a fight for someone, we will refund the full registration fee immediately.**

**If we can only provide one opponent in the division, we will give a 50% refund.**
