Waivers and membership confirmation will be on-site. Personal water bottles are encouraged. Participation Eligibility: USJF, USJA and USA Judo members. Membership cards must be presented on the day of the event to participate on the mat. Directions to Kuma Judo Club via Downtown Northampton From the South: Northampton is on Route I-91 in Massachusetts. From I-91 North take Exit 23 and turn left onto Route 5. Follow Route 5 into the center of downtown. At the intersection of Route 5 and Route 9, turn left onto Route 9 (Main Street). Go straight through six sets of traffic lights. At the seventh set of traffic lights turn right onto North Maple Street. The dojo is on the left at 30 North Maple Street in a two-story industrial building. Parking is available next to the building or along the street in designated parking spaces. The dojo is on the second floor with entrances from the parking lot. From the North: From I-91 South, take Exit 26, and follow onto Route 5 South into the center of downtown. At the intersection of Route 5 and Route 9 (Main Street), turn right onto Route 9. Then follow the same directions as above from Route 9 to Kuma Judo Club. From the East or West via the Massachusetts Turnpike: Northampton is on Route I-91 North (Mass Pike exit 45). Once on I-91, follow the directions above for visitors from the south. Hotels All these hotels are within 4 miles of the dojo on 30 North Maple Street in Northampton’s village of Florence 01062. However, downtown Northampton, particularly on Main Street is where most of the activity is going on until late at night. It’s a walking friendly downtown with lots of pedestrians. If you wanted to visit while you’re here, Hotel Northampton is in the downtown with lots of places to eat, shop, and things to do. The next best location is where the Fairfield Inn and neighboring Quality Inn are situated on Conz Street less than a mile from the downtown. Autumn Inn is in a residential section about half way between downtown and the village of Florence where the dojo is located.
