# Katharo In-House Tournament

Dates, times and the event are subject to change.  Event is still a work in progress. Make sure to check back here for any changes the week before the event and several days leading up to the event.  Start Times are the most subject to change and all changes will be at the top of this page.

Gi and NoGi divisions are available.

Refunds will not be issued the day of the event for illegitimate reasons especially if you commited to making a bracket complete.

**Rules**will follow**Traditional BJJ Format**for**scoring**and**allowed techniques**.

**All scorable positions and actions must be held and controlled for a minimum of 3 seconds in order to score**.

**Tiebreakers**will be determined by a**60 second round**of**Golden Score/Sub**.**First competitor**to**score points or sub**will be declared the**winner**.

 The "Registration" tab contains a live competitor list that automatically updates as they register.

The registration will close 48hrs before the event and the early bird registration phase will end 1 week before the event.

Brackets and event schedule will be posted the day before the event.

You can access the “Brackets & Schedule” tab on your mobile device or computer to view bracket information details like the match orders and times for each mat.

The tournament will follow a**Round Robin**format for bracket matchmaking.

This ensures that**every competitor will compete against every competitor in their division**regardless of wins/losses.

We will do our best to keep things fair and fun but some ages/weights/ranks may need to be combined in order to create brackets.**The goal is to get everyone as many matches as possible in a safe and fun manner.**

Weigh-Ins will be conducted following The Honor System.

**There is a scale located in the back of Katharo in the Fitness Center**.

Please double check your weight and register accordingly.

**Check-In will start 30mins prior to start time.Please show up at least 15 minutes prior to start time for check-in to ensure a prompt start.**

**Gold, Silverand Bronze Medals**will be awarded to**1st, 2nd and 3rdplace competitors**for**every division.**

**Each division registered**enters for a**chance to win free registration**to the one of the next local tournament such as**Grappling Industries, Fight2Win, and NAGA.**Maximum number of raffle entries is two(2).

**1 winner**will be selected**per event.**
