**Rules**will follow**Traditional BJJ Format**for**scoring**and**allowed techniques**. No slamming.

**All scorable positions and actions must be held and controlled for a minimum of 3 seconds in order to score**. All submission threats must be cleared in order to score.

**Tiebreakers**will be determined by a**60 second round**of**Golden Score/Sub**.**First competitor**to**score points or sub**will be declared the**winner**.

 The "Registration" tab contains a live competitor list that automatically updates as they register.

The registration will close 48hrs before the event and the early bird registration phase will end 1 week before the event.

Brackets and event schedule will be posted the day before the event.

You can access the “Brackets & Schedule” tab on your mobile device or computer to view bracket information details like the match orders and times for each mat.

Brackets will be finalized by friday evening, the night before the event. The tournament will follow a**Round Robin**format for bracket matchmaking.

This ensures that**every competitor will compete against every competitor in their division**regardless of wins/losses.

We will do our best to keep things fair and fun but some ages/weights/ranks may need to be combined in order to create brackets.**The goal is to get everyone as many matches as possible in a safe and fun manner.**

Weigh-Ins will be conducted following The Honor System.

**There is a scale located in the back of Katharo in the Fitness Center**.

Please double check your weight and register accordingly.

**Check-In will start 30mins prior to start time.Please show up at least 15 minutes prior to start time for check-in to ensure a prompt start.**

**Gold, Silverand Bronze Medals**will be awarded to**1st, 2nd and 3rdplace competitors**for**every division.**
