# Kids South Coast Regional Championship

**Description:** **RULES**

[IBJJF ruleset](https://ibjjf.com/books-videos) for kids will be used.

Doors will open at 9:00. First match will start at 9:30.

Competitors should weigh in 30 minutes before their division starts (latest). You can find out your match times once the brackets are published.

Each division's 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive medals on our podium.

**REGISTRATION**

Early bird registration costs £10 for one division.

Normal registration costs £20 for one division.

Late registration costs £30 for one division.

Early bird registration is between 8 December 2024 18:00 - 4 January 2025 23:59.

Normal registration will close on 26 January 2025 23:59. However, registrations may be closed before this date if maximum capacity is reached.

Late registration will close on 4 February 2025 09:00.

You can cancel or edit your registration until 4 February 2025 09:00. If you cancel your registration before 2 February 2025 12:00, you will receive 100% refund. No refunds will be issued after this date and time.

Brackets will be released on 5 February 2025 afternoon.

**SPECTATORS AND COACHES**

Spectators can enter for £5. You can pay by cash only at the door. We have ample space for spectators.

Coaches will need to pay a spectator fee unless they email us their names and academies in advance.

**CATEGORIES**

Boys/Girls

4yrs/5yrs/6yrs/7yrs/8yrs/9yrs/10yrs/11yrs/12yrs/13yrs/14yrs/15yrs

White belt/Grey belt/Yellow belt/Orange belt/Green belt

Brackets can be merged if there are under two competitors in one division.

**MATCH DURATION**

Under 6yrs: 2 minutes

6-9yrs: 3 minutes

10-16yrs: 4 minutes

**WEIGH-INS**

Competitors have 0.5kg weight allowance. Weigh-ins will be done with the gi.
