# Liam's Life No-Gi Benefit BJJ Tournament

LOCATION: 201 N Douglas St El Segundo, CA 90245

FORMAT: No Gi, Double-elimination, No overtime. In the event of a tie, the match results are determined by a referee's decision.

RULES: Simplified IBJJF ruleset

DIVISIONS:

- White, Blue/Purple, Brown/Black; Male and Female

- AGE:

     Adult: 18+

     Masters 1: 30+

     Masters 2: 36+

     Masters 3: 41+

     Masters 4: 46+

     Masters 5: 51+

     Masters 6: 56+

- WEIGHT:

     Female: -115 lbs, -125 lbs, 136 lbs, 147 lbs, 158 lbs, 169 lbs, +169 lbs

     Male: -136 lbs, -149 lbs, -162 lbs, -175 lbs, 188 lbs, -202 lbs, -215 lbs, +215 lbs

WEIGH-INS: All competitors will be given a 0.9 allowance. Weigh-ins will begin promptly at 8am. The tournament will begin at 9am. Competitors are expected to be weighed in at least an hour before their division begins.

UNIFORM: All competitors must wear a non-offensive rashguard. Men must wear shorts over spats. All color rashguards are permitted. Shorts and leggings must NOT have pockets or zippers.

BRACKETS and SCHEDULE:  Brackets and the competition schedule will posted 48 hours before the event.

SPECTATORS: This event is free for the public. The venue does charge a parking fee. All spectators must stand behind the barricade to avoid overcrowding the competition area.

COACHES: Each competitor will be allowed 1 coach. Coaches will need to receive a bracelet at check-in.
