**Description:** LSGF organizes age divisions based on the participant's birth year, rather than their exact age on the event date. This means that all children born in the same calendar year are grouped together, regardless of their specific birthday. For example:

Children born in 2019 will compete in the 6-7-year-old bracket, as they will turn 6 or 7 during 2025.

Children born in 2020 will compete in the 4-5-year-old bracket, as they will turn 4 or 5 during 2025.
