# MTC Jiu-Jitsu Invitational

**Description:** Maui Training Center is proud to host our first in-house Jiu-Jitsu tournament exclusively for youth competitors! This event is open to kids ages 5–15 and is designed to give students an opportunity to compete in a safe, friendly, and well-organized setting. Whether it’s your child’s first match or they’ve competed before, this tournament is a great way to build skills, test themselves, and have fun with their teammates.

Divisions will be separated by age, belt rank, and weight, and all matches will follow IBJJF rules. Brackets with fewer than two competitors will be removed or merged appropriately. We'll be using Smoothcomp to handle all registrations, divisions, and real-time bracket updates.

Awards will be given to 1st–3rd place in each division, and all competitors will be recognized for their participation and effort.

Parents, friends, and family are welcome to attend and cheer from the sidelines. This is a community event — let's celebrate the hard work and heart these kids put into training every week!
