About This Event
The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) is the world’s largest mixed grappling tournament circuit with over 29 years of experience running tournaments. NAGA tournaments are safe, fair, and have divisions for all ages, skills, and weights.
NAGA welcomes all grappling styles. Our tournaments have both no-gi and gi divisions. You are allowed (and encouraged) to compete in both styles. Come as an individual or as a team to compete.
***This tournament was moved from Danbury, CT on Saturday, December 7, to Trumbull, CT on Sunday, December 8.
For 2025, NAGA will have new bracketing formats and will be offering a $500 prize to the winner of the Men's No-Gi Absolute champion. We will be implementing these exciting changes at this tournament, the Connecticut Grappling Championship.
These new bracket types will make sure each competitor has a chance at two matches per division (barring injury, opponent withdrawal, etc.) so they can gain that valuable experience on the mats.
NAGA is excited to offer money prizes at all our 2025 events to the winner of the Men's Expert No-Gi Absolute division. To be eligible for the money prize, a competitor must participate in both their weight class division and the absolute division.
NAGA is offering $10 off to all competitors who register by midnight on NOVEMBER 07th, 2024. At checkout, enter 2024CT in the coupon code field, and $10 will be discounted from your overall fee. Please Note: Only one coupon code can be used at checkout per competitor per tournament.
NAGA is bringing a truckload of grappling gear (board shorts, bi bags, rash guards, t-shirts, hats, patches, skull caps, stickers, dog tags, etc.) in children and adults sizes, for males and females. Check out the huge selection of gear and apparel at the NAGA event.
Each year NAGA runs over 75 tournament a year across the world. We are always looking for new staff members to join the NAGA team. If you are interested in becoming a referee, complete the Referee Application found on our website. We also have positions available such as ring coordinator, security, weigh-in, awards, etc. If you are not competing and would like to work an event, email us at info@nagafighter.com. Please indicate which tournament you are interested in working.
