On Saturday, July 11th, 2026, NJJF is bringing the action to the Virginia Beach Field House for the Virginia Beach Summer Championship!
Whether you're a seasoned jiu jitsu competitor or just beginning your journey, this event welcomes athletes of all ages and experience levels. With both gi and no-gi divisions, this is your opportunity to step onto the mats in Virginia Beach and showcase your skills against top talent from across the region.
Stand proud on the podium with custom medals awarded to the top three competitors in every division, representing your hard work, discipline, and achievement. First-place winners in any advanced division will also receive the prestigious NJJF Championship Belt — a true symbol of excellence on the mats.
Looking for the ultimate challenge? Test yourself in our no-gi absolute division, where athletes battle regardless of weight class. In this elite showdown of strategy, technique, and heart, only one competitor will rise above the rest.
Team standings will be calculated to determine the top three teams in both youth and adult divisions, as well as the overall champion. The top seven teams will earn award banners to proudly display in their academies, while first-place teams will take home a custom NJJF team trophy honoring their collective performance.
