# NFC Brew Jitsu VI > Competition in Atlanta, Georgia, United States | January 18, 2026 – January 19, 2026 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Brew Jitsu returns for the first time in 2026 on Sunday, January 18 for Brew Jitsu VI at Monday Night Garage! Plus for the first time ever we've also added an Absolute Divisions for Gi & No Gi for men & women! Please arrive at Monday Night Garage at least 1 hour before your scheduled match time on Smoothcomp. Everyone must weigh-in on location unless you are doing the unlimited division. You do not need to weigh in with your gi or no gi clothes on. You may weigh in with whatever you’d like on, down to your underwear. You may begin weighing in at 10 am if you’d like. Or you can weigh in at least one hour before your first match. But please be aware that our schedule moves fast and we don't take breaks. So please try to arrive much earlier than your first match. Should you not make weight, you may keep trying to make weight until your division begins. If you make weight at 10 am or whenever you'd like, you may eat, then return one hour before your division begins. If you miss weight by the time your bracket begins, you will be taken out of the tournament with no refund. There is NO weight allowance. If you are .1 over, then you will not be allowed to compete. Our past Brew Jitsu events have turned Monday Night Garage in west midtown into the #1 location for Atlanta jiu jitsu! We turn this 15,000 square foot brewery into a fun jiu jitsu atmosphere not only for the jiu jitsu purists, but also for your friends and family that have never been to a jiu jitsu tournament or find the other ones stale. NFC Brew Jitsu again is the least expensive jiu jitsu tournament in Atlanta to enter with pre-registration prices at only $50! Register from now until November 30 for only $50. We keep the list of registered athletes on Smoothcomp hidden until the price increases to $100 on January 1. If you want to save money, register early and get in for only $50. After January 1 the price jumps to $100 and the list of athletes registered will be made public. NFC Brew Jitsu features BOTH Gi and No Gi competition! Brackets will be white - black belt that are divided by weight classes, gender and age divisions. Black Belts compete for FREE! You must pay to register, but will receive a full refund after you compete (except for the no gi absolute division).
