# Nordic Open Grappling #8 > Competition in Nacka, Stockholm, Sweden | May 10, 2025 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** **Nordic Open Grappling**is held four times a year at our facilities in Nacka, where we strive to deliver a professional and exciting experience for both competitors and spectators. The competition is open to juniors, adult and master with divisions for all experience levels. Matches start at 9:00 AM. Brackets and individual start times will be published during the competition week. Limited spots available – only 200 participants! To secure your place in the competition, it is crucial to complete all steps of your registration. Spots fill up quickly, so don’t wait too long! Each academy is entitled to one coach with free entry. To receive the coach pass, registration is required. Limited space for spectators. Our venue has limited capacity, and we want to accommodate as many competitors as possible. Therefore, we kindly ask you to keep the number of accompanying spectators to a minimum. The pre-purchase fee is 75 SEK, the late fee or if you buy on site is 100kr. We can not guarantee entrance on site if you don’t have a ticket so buy yours today! All visitor over 12 years old need to have a ticket. **Collect ranking points from all Nordic Open events and become the Nordic Open Champion! The overall winner**of the ranking division**Adult Advanced Division**(both male and female categories) will receive**10,000 SEK**in prize money! Our great friends Indus Foodtruck are offering amazing burgers for a quick and tasty meal during the day. 🎥**LIVESTREAM PPV** We use Smoothcomp TV for our livestreaming. You can purchase access to watch the matches live. The livestream also remain available for viewing afterward. **Submission only with points in overtime.** We will follow the SSWL’s official ruleset regarding allowed techniques, attire, and match regulations. Further information about the ranking system will be provided soon. 2 player: Best of three 3-5 players: True Round Robin From 6 players or more: Pools with round robin, final rounds with Single Elimination. *Winning a match by submission is valued higher and awards more points. Competitors with the highest points in their pool advance to the final single elimination round.* **⚖️ WEIGH-INS** Weighins open at 8:30 AM and continue throughout the competition day. You will weigh in approximately 30 minutes before your first match.
