The Okanagan Absolute will be our first event of the year and we are looking forward to a very exciting, action packed day. Thank you for considering us for your next competition. Get 100% refund for any reason until February 10th, 2025 at 9:00pm. No refunds for any reason after this date. So register early as we will be capping this event and it will fill up. In the past we have let people register late but please understand we will not do that this time for any reason. We have hotel deals that we are working on currently and we will update this information when it becomes available to us. There is a grocery store and coffee shop located in the mall where the venue is located for your convenience. On tournament Saturday we will be following the IBJJF rules set. Please visit IBJJF.org/rules and get familiar with rules that will pertain to your division. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE ADJUSTED THE WEIGHT DIVISIONS SLIGHTLY TO ENSURE BIGGER DIVISIONS. THE BIGGEST CHANGE IS THE KIDS GI DIVISIONS WILL BE BOYS AND GIRLS TOGETHER WE ALSO ADDED NO GI ADULT DIVISIONS! TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE FEBRURARY 10TH AT 9:00pm. Late registrations will not be accepted. ***PARENTS READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE ON WEIGHT OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. NO EXCEPTIONS! It is your responsibility to weigh your child in WITH A GI ON and register them in the correct division (please do not guess your child's weight). Due to safety reasons for the children, their weight must be accurate with the gi. COMPETITORS WHO DO NOT MAKE WEIGHT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Weigh is station will be open between 3:00pm and 5:00pm Friday February 14th 2025 Youth Divisions will have a 2 lb allowance Adult Divisions will have a 1 lb allowance This is a Gi and NOGI tournament.
