# OKJJC 2025 - Oceania Kids Jiu Jitsu Championship > Competition in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia | March 22, 2025 – March 23, 2025 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Welcome to the 2025 OKJJC - The Oceania Kids Jiu Jitsu Championship. The International championship has been granted a special**6 STAR**National Ranking as it is considered a jewel in the AFBJJ crown. Now in its 3rd year it remains as the only "kids only" major in the Oceania region! **OCEANIA CHAMPION** Opportunities to become an Oceania Champion are: **NEW JUNIOR NOGI** Junior Boys Gi, Junior Boys Nogi, Junior Girls Gi, Junior Girls Nogi, Male Juvenile Gi, Male Juvenile NoGi, Female Juvenile Gi, Female Juvenile NoGi. Early bird entries close at Midnight on the 4th of March - Late and final entries (at a slightly higher fee) close at Midnight on Tuesday, the 18th of March The last chance to change yourself out of a single fighter category to a different age or weight is Wednesday at midnight on the 19th of March. **REFUND POLICY** A full 100% refund is available before registrations close at Midnight on Tuesday, 18th of March. A full 100% refund remains available until the end of Check and Change Day at Midnight on Wednesday, 19th of March. No Refunds are available after Midnight on Wednesday, 19th of March. This applies also to competitors who have opponents withdraw on the day leaving them in a single fighter category. Anyone in a single fighter category after midnight on the 19th of March will be moved to the nearest category based on age and or weight at the discretion of organisers. This**6 STAR**event earns competitors**National Ranking Points**- 54 Gold, 18 Silver and 6 Bronze. **CONSOLATION FIGHT MAT** An extra mat will be available at the event for all first round losers and those who did not have a fight. Those concerned must go to the mat coordinator for this mat and register their interest to participate. Note: Considering the National and International rules, the results from this mat will not form part of the event results or rankings. Participants can only be those with an original registration in the OKJJC. - refunded athletes cannot participate in the consolation event. Possible match ups need to be approved by a parent or guardian. **PRELIMINARY DAY SCHEDULE** SUNDAY - All Junior Gi, All Junior Nogi - All Juvenile Gi, All Juvenile NoGi. A detailed schedule with mat locations and exact fight times will be available online prior to the event once registrations close and heats can be uploaded - All competitors should be in attendance around 1 hour before their scheduled fight time.
