**Description:** **Older Grappler Open I** is a gi submission-only tournament exclusively for grapplers aged 40 and up, hosted by KD Events at Kogen Dojo in Annapolis, MD on June 13, 2026.

Divisions are organized by skill level (white through black belt), weight, and gender, with absolute gi divisions also available for those looking for more action.

**Format:** Submission only. Matches that go to overtime are decided by sudden death — the first competitor to score a takedown, sweep, or guard pass wins. No points, no decisions — just grappling.

**All competitors are guaranteed multiple matches.**Entry fee is $75 per competitor.

Check-in begins at 11:30 AM and matches start at 12:00 PM.

Come represent the OG40+ community and show what experience looks like on the mat.
