This year, we introduce big gold medal trophies for 1st place positions. The remaining 2nd and third placements are awarded silver and bronze medals respectively.

In the case of a forced event cancellation, all registration fees will be automatically refunded.

The organization and/or event promoter is not responsible for the participant's other expenses such as, but not limited to; transportation and lodging.

* Flex match: each participant will be evaluated on it's own basis for best fit into appropriate next bracket should your bracket not achieve the desired minimum of 3 combatants. Guaranteeing you a minimum two fight event.

You must check your registration information on the competitor list before the registration check day. Make sure that all the information is correct. If there are any issues contact us immediately.

Weight is +/- 5lbs, honour system. No weight check-in required. Random testing may occur.  

We're proud to introduce 'flex match' tech, an industry first. Our systems will automatically adjust single-person brackets to the next available bracket closest to you in age, weight, and belt. This occurs the week of 'late registration'. You don't have to do anything. The system will take care of it for you. Don't worry, you always have the right to decline/withdraw/refund). We wish to offer competitors greater exposure to diverse competitors, while offering you more fights and more experience. 

Kids matches will observe early safe submission practices i.e. onset of a submission hold will result in an immediate stoppage win to ensure the safety of the competitor.

Make sure to have a clean gi in proper condition according to OJA rules.

The athletes must keep the kimono and belt tied to the waist at all times while waiting for their fight.

The referee makes the final decision and will not tolerate any complaints or make changes to the decision.

Be respectful to the staff, officials other athletes and coaches. In turn they will show you the same courtesy.

Be respectful to the referees, showing consideration and appreciation for the performance of his or her duties.

Any disputes regarding matches are to be settled by the Referee. All decisions by the Referee will be final. DO NOT call for points directed to the referee.

Only one (1) Coach (as their free spectator) will be allowed to coach from the side. 

Direct all questions to tournament staff at the administration table. We will do our best to answer your questions as quickly as possible. Please be patient with questions as there are a lot of competitors at the event. As such we remain busy throughout the day.
