About This Event
PSUK & TeamPolice BJJ are back for 2026! Our next national championships, scheduled for 2nd May 2026, will be held in South Yorkshire at the Niagara Sports & Leisure Centre, Niagara Rd, Sheffield, S6 1LU. Following the success of our 2025 format, we will again be running this event as both a Gi and NoGi championships on the same day!
Competitors will have the opportunity to compete in both the Gi and NoGi divisions as well as the absolute categories in both - £30 entry fee to compete in either category, or £45 to compete in both. Entry to Absolute categories is free! So plenty of opportunities for silverware, whatever your preferred discipline! Competitors must be serving or retired Police Officers or Police Staff; those wishing to register anonymously should email us at teampolicebjj@gmail.com for instructions on how to do this. Black belts enter for free using coupon code FreeBlackBeltEntrySouthYorkshire.
Friends and family will be welcome to come and support but will expected to wear visitor passes and will be the responsibility of the officer they are supporting - this is an operational Police premises. All competitors will be expected to bring and show their Police ID card/warrant card (or appropriate documents if retired) to be permitted entry to the site.
The growth and popularity of BJJ in the UK Policing community continues to develop at unprecedented pace and we are fast becoming one of the most popular activities within Police Sports! Our league table, representing all forces across the UK, saw the Metropolitan Police take the title for 2025. Book your leave, register for the event and lets see who will take the medals this year and which force will bring the PSUK & TeamPolice BJJ winner's shield home!
