# ROGUE Grappling 15 - WIPEOUT > Competition in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada | August 12, 2023 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** ROGUE Grappling kicks off Season 4 with our fifteenth Open event, WIPEOUT! - pleased to be back in Moncton, New Brunswick once again! **Spectator Fee = $5 at the door, cash only**(this Fee does not apply to Children under 6 or Coaches) NoGi Beginner - less than 3 years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling. NoGi Intermediate - 3 to 5 years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling. NoGi Advanced - 5+ years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling. **Weight Divisions**Men < 145, 146 - 160, 161 - 175, 176 - 190, 191 - 205, 206 - 220, 221 - 250, 251+ Women < 130, 131 - 145, 146 - 160, 161 - 175, 176+ **Note**: Divisions may be combined, amended or created depending on registration. **Rules (NoGi)** We are going to be following IBJJF scoring (no advantages) and permissible techniques. Kids divisions, 7 and Under + 9 and Under - no submissions permitted; points only. No use of body triangles to apply pressure to ribs or kidneys. Kids divisions, 10 - 12 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for Kids Under 12. No use of body triangles to apply pressure to ribs or kidneys. Kids and Youth divisions, 13 - 15 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for Kids Under 15. No use of body triangles to apply pressure to ribs or kidneys. Kids and Youth divisions, 16 - 17 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for Kids Under 17. No use of body triangles to apply pressure to ribs or kidneys. Adult, Beginner - IBJJF legal submissions for Adult White belt. No use of body triangles to apply pressure to ribs or kidneys. Adult, Intermediate - IBJJF legal submissions for Adult Blue and Purple belt. Adult, Advanced - All IBJJF Brown and Black Belt legal submissions except heel hooks; knee reaping is permitted (ie. a position like 4/11 will not result in a stoppage or DQ) No jumping guard. No scissor takedowns from standing. No slams. No small joint manipulation. No heel hooks. No spinal manipulation. No neck cranks. **Match Length** Kids and Youth - 3 minutes Adults - 5 minutes Absolute - 5 minutes Kids divisions will compete first, followed by Adult advanced belts, Adult beginner belts and ending with Absolutes. **Registration, Pricing and Weigh Ins** Weigh ins will be done in your competition clothing.**Failure to make weight could result in a disqualification without refund.**Please note that divisions may be combined or created depending on registrants at any given weight division or experience level. Divisions will be grouped together as close as possible by weight and experience level and are dependent on registrations. Early Registration starts June 6th, 2023 @ 9h and continues through August 6th, 2023 @ 23h59. Late Registration starts August 6th, 2023 @ midnight and continues through August 9th, 2023 @ 23h59. Weigh Ins will run from 8h30 through 10h, Kids matches will begin at 9h30. You will be afforded a 1 lb. allowance. Kids and Youth, Early Registration - $55 Adults Men, Early Registration - $80 Adult Women, Early Registration - $50 Absolute Only - $35 Absolute, if competing in another division - $15 Kids and Youth, Late Registration - $65 Adult Men, Late Registration - $90 Adult Women, Late Registration - $55 To receive the discounted pricing you must have the divisions you want to compete in in your cart at the time of checkout. ** Note Re: Absolute Brackets** Adult Male white belts are not eligible for the Absolute division. You must be at least Blue Belt level or higher to be eligible to compete in the Absolute unless you have significant experience in another Grappling art (ie. Judo, Wrestling) and have confirmed your eligibility with us in advance of your registration. Failure to do so will result in your disqualification from the Absolute bracket. The Female Absolute bracket is open to all experience levels. **Season 4 Grand Prix Eligibility and Changes to Absolute divisions** To help us build better brackets for the Seasonal Grand Prix tournaments, if you have won an Absolute division during the Season you will not be eligible to compete in another Absolute bracket for the remainder of that Season. **Refund Policy** We will offer a 100% refund for cancellations received until August 6th, 2023 @ 23h59, after which a 75% refund will apply for cancellations received by August 9th, 2023 at 20h. If you do not have someone in your division or weight category, we will gladly offer you a full refund if we cannot find a suitable bracket for you to compete in. **Covid Policy** If Covid or other Public Health measure requires this event be cancelled for any reason, a 100% refund will apply.
