**Description:** SJJA In-House Competition – Rules & Important Information -  SJJA STUDENTS ONLY

Our goal is to create a fair, safe, and enjoyable competition for everyone. We will do our best to match athletes with opponents of similar belt level, age, and experience. If this is not possible, belts may be mixed only when necessary, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to compete and enjoy the event.

For girls’ divisions, we will prioritise girls vs girls matches. However, if numbers are limited, we may need to match girls with boys of the same age group to allow all athletes to participate fairly and safely.

This is a Round Robin competition, meaning each athlete will have multiple matches, giving everyone a fair chance to compete, learn, and grow. This event is designed to be family-friendly, supportive, and fun, focused on experience, confidence, and teamwork rather than pressure.
