SLICE & SCRAP is back.

This is a local, community-focused invitational / tournament-style competition designed to give people mat time, experience, and a chance to compete in a relaxed but competitive environment. Expect good rounds, high effort, and a friendly atmosphere.

37 Jiu-Jitsu Bellaghy, Derry

Weigh-ins: from 10:00am
Competition start: 11:00am

• White, Blue & Purple belt divisions
• Gi & No-Gi included (entry covers both)

Match format:
• All matches are 5 minutes
• Submission-only rules
• If no submission occurs, the result will be decided by referee’s decision

£25 entry, £30 late fee which includes:
• Gi & No-Gi divisions
• Pizza & refreshments on the day
• Medals for division winners

We will also be running single invitational-style matches for Blue belt and above.

If you’re interested in a single match, please DM us directly on Instagram to register your interest.

As with any local competition, there may be instances where a competitor is alone in their division.
Where possible, we will merge divisions to ensure matches while keeping things safe and fair.

By registering, competitors acknowledge that:
• Mergers may be required
• In some cases, suitable merges may not be possible

We’ll always do our best to communicate clearly and make sure everyone gets the best experience possible.

Abuse toward referees, staff, or volunteers will not be tolerated.
Referees’ decisions are final, and anyone displaying abusive or unsportsmanlike behaviour may be removed from the event.

This is a community event, respect the rules, respect the refs, and respect each other.
