Important Notice for Youth Competitors:
Your child's competition age is determined by the age they turn this year. This system ensures fairness for all competitors.

We're excited to introduce an updated format for our upcoming events!

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Tournament officials reserve the right to disqualify any competitor or remove spectators displaying inappropriate behavior. We strive to foster a positive, respectful environment and appreciate your support in maintaining our strong reputation within the Jiu-Jitsu community.

Competitors will be placed in the most appropriate bracket based on available matchups. If no athletes are registered in a specific division, they will be moved to the closest available bracket (above or below their weight/belt class). Youth competitors will not be placed in a bracket more than 10 lbs heavier or 2 years older without prior parental consent.

After overtime, the referee will decide the winner based on control and submission attempts. No advantage points will be awarded in Gi matches—the referee's decision will be based on submission activity.

Overtime lasts 1 minute for all competitors. The first athlete to score a point wins. Points are awarded for holding control (approximately 3 seconds) in the following positions:

Our goal is to provide a safe, fair, and exciting tournament experience. Referees prioritize competitor safety and will stop matches if necessary (e.g., children in compromising arm locks).

❌ All leg submissions
❌ Spinal locks (e.g., Twister)
❌ Neck cranks
❌ Wrist locks
❌ Guillotine chokes (12 & under)
❌ Pulling the head in a triangle (12 & under)
❌ Compression locks inside closed guard (ribs/kidneys)
❌ Slamming
❌ Bicep or calf slicers ❌ Ezequiel choke ❌ Omaplata ❌Arm Triangle

❌ Neck cranks
❌ Spinal locks
❌ Slamming
❌ Heel hooks
❌ Sideways knee bars
❌ Bending fingers

❌ Toe holds
