**All weight categories with a (-) are (under) weight categories, meaning you must weigh under the listed weight (see weight allowance in "Weigh-Ins" section) to participate in that category. All weight categories with a (+) are (over) weight categories, meaning there is no weight limit.



Beginner: 0-2 years of experience (Blue Belts and college level wrestlers are not allowed to compete at the Beginner level)

Intermediate: 2-4 years of grappling experience (Purple Belts are not allowed to compete at Intermediate level)

Advanced: 4+ years of grappling experience

**You are always allowed to challenge yourself by going up in skill level, but you may not go down in skill level. Additionally, once you compete at a higher skill level, you are not allowed to go down in skill level for future events. For example, a blue belt who voluntarily decides to compete at the Advanced level will not be allowed to go down to Intermediate in the future. This does not apply to competitors who are moved up in skill level by the organization due to having no opponents at their registered skill level. 

All weight divisions with 2 competitors will utilize a format.

All weight divisions with 3 or more competitors will utilize a format.

All Absolute divisions will utilize a format. Again, athletes will compete for 3rd place (no double bronze)

**Medals and team points will not be awarded for competitors who have no opponents. Competitors with no opponents will have the option to move to another weight/skill level or received a full refund.



will be available on . We ask that competitors are weighed-in 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for your first division, especially those competing later in the day as we often run ahead of schedule.

You will be required to wear clothing (t-shirt and shorts) while weighing in. You be allowed to disrobe or "strip" to your underwear, so please plan accordingly.

Because you are required to weigh in clothed, there will be a for all competitors to account for the weight of your clothing.

You will not be allowed to switch divisions the day of the event. All changes and edits to your registration must be made by the edit/change deadline on .

If you are unable to make the registered weight before the start of your first match - you will be .

Competitors lists will be available to view throughout the registration period under the "Participants" tab on the Smoothcomp event page.

If you do not see anybody registered for your division - register anyways! In the event that we are not able to place you in a fair division, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration credit to a future event.

You will have until  to make any necessary changes to your registration. Changes to your registration can be made by logging into your account and editing your registration details. 

After this time, you will not be able to make any changes or edits to your registration.

1st (Gold), 2nd (Silver), and 3rd (Bronze) Place medals will be awarded for each division!

There will be a $250.00 cash prize awarded to the Most Valuable Grappler. This award is reserved for the athlete who scores the most team points. Team points are scored by placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in your division and bonus points are scored for victories via submission.

$100.00 cash prize awarded to the winners of the Adult Male and Adult Female Beginner Absolute.

$250.00 cash prize awarded to the winners of Adult Male and Adult Female Intermediate Absolute.

$500.00 cash prize awarded to the winners of the Adult Male and Adult Female Advanced Absolute.

A team trophy will be awarded to the team who scores the most team points - The Adult Team Champions. 

Results will be updated LIVE throughout the event and displayed on the "Result" tab of the event page!

There will be a professionally trained and certified medic on sight for the event. The Medic will be available for competitors to receive ice, evaluation, and advice in the event of an injury.
