 This event is a NoGi Prize Money event for adults. Kids and Juvenile have Gi and No Gi run in Round Robin format. Early Bird Entries are available. After the Early Bird cut off the entry fees are higher. Doors open at 9am - Competition starts at 10am.

Our matches follow the [IBJJF](https://ibjjf.com/) competition rule-set, both for adults and kids. All competitors are expected to be familiar with all these rules for this tournament. Ignorance is not an excuse - please follow this link to see the current IBJJF rules.

Age Selection

The AFBJJ now calculates competitor date of births against the the 31-12-2023 (or current year minus year of birth) to align with IBJJF rules. So, a competitor born on the 12-09-2008 will therefore compete in the 15 Year Old age group. Please check [https://ibjjf.com/rules/](https://ibjjf.com/rules/)

Weight Selection

Weights in the drop down box are represented as net with the appropriate Gi or No Gi allowance included in brackets e.g. the 79kg (82.3kg) Gi weight category means a net weight under 79kg and a combined gross weight (including Gi) of under 82.3kg.

Due to increased Covid Safety Precautions, the following procedures are required:
**Spectators**- spectators will be charged $15 cash at entry and 1.5m social distancing must be adhered to.
**Coaches**- Each team will be allocated a number of wrist bands based on the number of athletes entered in the competition. Only coaches wearing their wrist bands may corner athletes and enter the bull pen (whilst maintaining social distancing).
**Social Distancing**- 1.5m social distancing must be adhered to.
**Health Checks**- Temperature checks will be carried out on competitors and non competitors at check in desk .
**Hand Sanitizer**- will be available
