This historic event marks a major milestone in our mission to bring authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to every corner of New Zealand, and we couldn't be more excited to open this new chapter alongside the incredible people of Taranaki.

Get ready for an unforgettable day of high-level Jiu-Jitsu! The Taranaki Open is a 5-star NZBJJF-sanctioned event, featuring both Gi and No-Gi divisions, and welcoming kids, teens, juveniles, and adults of all belt levels.

Whether you’re stepping on the mats for the first time or you're a seasoned competitor chasing gold, this is your chance to be part of something special.

Athletes weighing over their registered limit will be disqualified.No changes to divisions allowed on the day. No refunds will be issued once brackets go live.
