## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** Tournament features a Submission Only ruleset. Uniquely Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Athletes will compete in the same bracket (the submissions allowed will be based on the least experienced competitor in each match) ie if a Beginner faces an Advanced Competitor then only straight ankle locks will be allowed - however if an Advanced athlete competes against an Advanced athlete then all submissions including heel hooks are permitted

Double Elimination will guarantee competitors get more than one match on the day. If you loose your initial match you will still be able to compete for the bronze medal

**Weigh in will be in the morning and your brackets will be published on Smoothcomp**
