About This Event
The Summer Challenge (previously The Summer Classic) is back for it's fourth year! Last year was our largest summer tournament yet and drew competitors from multiple states and martial arts disciplines. Classic Combat is once again partnering with Robert Butturini's Knoxville Martial Arts Academy to create another great events. Like all Classic Combat events, we offer a family-friendly experience suitable for all ages, skill levels, and ranks.

Where: Knoxville Christian School, 11549 Snyder Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932
Early Bird (March 21-April 30)
Regular (May 1-May 31)
Late (June 1 - June 24)
⚠ No day-of registration for competitors. All competitors must register by midnight, March 18. Spectators may purchase tickets at the door.
Kickboxing Divisions: Semi-contact, continuous sparring style. No knockouts allowed — any knockout results in immediate disqualification.
Point Karate Divison: Moderate-contact, stop-point sparring format — action pauses after each clean technique, and excessive contact or uncontrolled strikes result in immediate warnings or disqualification.”
