TMIYC - TAP ME IF YOU CAN (GI & MO GI Tournament)
Location: Fightschool Hannover, Vahrenwalder Str. 211, 30165 Hannover
Doors Open @ 8:00 am. | Event Starts @ 9:00 am.
On this edition there will be an opportunity for everyone to try out their skills during the competition. All competitors will be guaranteed to fight at least 2 fights.

3-4 Competitors: Round Robin
5-7 Competitors: Round Robin (4 Fights Limited)
8+ Competitors: Round Robin (2 Fights Limited)

After deadline, competitors who do not have anyone in their division group may be merged with another division. All athletes who remain solo in their divisions once brackets are released means had no default merges available to them, and therefore there are no matches available for that competitor. They will receive a full refund .

The Absolute Division is open weight and combines all skill levels. Brown/Black Belt rules will be applied.
The bracket will follow a single elimination format.
Winners of the Absolute Division will receive a Championship Belt.
⚠️ Important: A minimum of 12 athletes must be registered in the division for the belt to be awarded.
Stay updated before and during the tournament on Smoothcomp, follow the live brackets on the screens or on your phone. It is your own responsibility to show up on time at the Warming Up Area. Find out your dynamic starting time.
The fight can only be won by submission or when the opponent receives 3 or more penalties for passivity. In the regular round, there are no points, no advantages and no negative points. If any of the competitors exceeds the limit of 3 penalties in the regular time, the overtime will not be played and the fight will be lost by the person who received more penalties or was the first to receive the third penalty in the case of a "draw".
Submit your opponent faster than he or she can submit you. If there is no submission by end of overtime, the competitor with the fastest escape time in that match will win.
In case of no submission or escape, the referee will decide the winner based on the submission attempts during the match. If neither competitor has a clear advantage in submission attempts, the referee may consider overall aggression, control, and positional dominance when making the final decision.
