Please note weigh-ins will take place 45 minutes before your match begins. Competitors may be subject to changes in weight classes/divisions if there are too few or too many entrants in a division.

**Competitor Entry Fee**

Early bird - £15 on smoothcomp (non refundable)

**Tournament Format**

The format of the tournament is double elimination and there will be opportunities to compete in an absolute division.

**Referees & Ruleset**

Matches will be refereed by UKBJJJA Officials under the IBJJF NoGi ruleset: [https://ibjjf.com/books-videos](https://ibjjf.com/books-videos)

Please wear appropriate clothing i.e. rashguard and shorts/spats. We also recommend wearing a mouthguard.

**Spectators**

Please reach out to your friends, family, teammates and coaches and invite them to spectate! Standard spectator tickets are £7 and allow access to the event for the whole day. **Entry Requirements**

Anyone attending a University BJJ Club or currently studying at university is eligible for entry.

The 3-12 month division is strictly for those who have begun grappling in recent academic terms. We will not tolerate sandbagging of any kind in this division and any competitor suspected of being significantly outside of the skill level on the bracket on the day may be disqualified.

The 12 months to 2 years division is for experienced "white belts" who have substantial grappling experience. Thus, blue belts are not allowed to register for this division as well as grapplers who have been training for over 2 years.

**Medical cover**

Medical staff will be present, hired via a licensed operator, ready to administer emergency care if necessary.
