# WBF #8 No-Gi Championship

## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** The competition is held under Grappling (No-Gi) rules, using the general structure and classification system of AJP No‑Gi / AJP Grappling, with specific modifications as described in this regulation.

All athletes must comply with these rules to be eligible to compete.

Age divisions follow the AJP No‑Gi age structure, with the following modification regarding Masters division:

✅ All athletes aged 35+ compete in one single Master division, without further Master subdivision (no Master 1, Master 2, etc.).

Weight divisions are identical to AJP No‑Gi weight categories and apply to Adults and Masters (35+), for both Beginner and Professional divisions.

Instead of a traditional belt system, the competition uses a two‑level skill classification:

Athletes must register in the correct division according to the criteria below.

The Beginner division is intended for athletes with limited competitive experience.

An athlete is considered Beginner if they meet most of the following criteria:

The Advanced Division is intended for athletes with intermediate competitive and technical experience, positioned between Beginner and Professional levels.

An athlete is considered Advanced if they meet one or more of the following criteria:

Athletes with these belt ranks are not eligible to compete in the Beginner division and must register under Advanced.

The Professional division is intended for experienced and advanced competitors.

An athlete is considered Professional if they meet one or more of the following criteria:
