Get ready for an incredible day of diverse competition! This tournament is offering divisions for both kids and adults. For the young warriors, we've got exciting GI, NOGI and SUMO divisions, creating a fun and dynamic experience for the next generation of fighters. And for the adults, there are White and Blue Belt GI divisions to showcase the skills of those starting their Ju Jitsu journey. The atmosphere will be buzzing with energy as participants of all ages and levels showcase their talents and embrace the spirit of friendly competition. This event is aimed towards all kids 4-14 years of age wanting to gain experience in martial arts competition. The rules and weights have all been tailored to give novice kids as much experience as possible and as many matches as possible. Repechage system running (All competitors guaranteed 2 fights, 75% guaranteed 3 fights) This is a novice tournament. If your child has a lot of experience competing then this tournament is not for them. Please check below for all specific rules and weight divisions. 4-7 (sumo, Bjj, Sub G) 8+ (BJJ, Sub G, Sumo) Sumo – 1.30 minute matches first to 5 points – push out 1 point, takedown 2 points, clean throw 3 points -20kg, -24kg, -28kg, +28kg. (4-7 year olds) -28kg, -34kg, -40kg, -46kg, +46kg (8-12 year olds) Bjj – Ibjjf (all matches 2.30 minutes) -18kg -22kg -26kg +26kg (4-7 year olds). No submissions -25kg -30kg -35kg -40kg -45kg +45kg (8-12 year olds) No submissions 13 - 14 year old match on experience/weight Submissions Sub G – ibjjf (all matches 2.30 minutes), -21kg, -25kg, -29kg, -33kg, -37kg, -41kg, -45kg, -49kg, -53kg, -57kg, +57kg.
