World Jiu Jitsu Tour (WJT) is a premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition circuit built to deliver a professional, athlete-first tournament experience. Our events are designed to give competitors meaningful mat time, fair divisions, smooth scheduling, and a well-organized competitive environment. Whether you are competing for the first time or are a seasoned athlete, WJT provides a high-quality platform to test yourself, represent your academy, and grow in the sport.

The World Jiu Jitsu Tour debuts in New York on May 23, 2026 at St. John’s University’s Taffner Field House for a full day of elite Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition.

This event is pre-registration only and has a strict capacity limit. Once capacity is reached, registration will close and no additional entries will be accepted. There will be no registrations accepted on the day of the event.

WJT events are structured to prioritize real competition experience. Whenever possible, athletes will receive multiple matches to ensure meaningful mat time and proper division value.

Brackets and schedules will be published before the event. Schedules are dynamic and may shift on event day. Athletes are responsible for monitoring their division times.

If World Jiu Jitsu Tour (WJT) cancels or postpones this event for any reason, all registered competitors will be offered one of the following options:

A response window will be announced via email and Smoothcomp for competitors to select their preferred option.

Refunds are only guaranteed in cases of full event cancellation or postponement.
