# Wurstroll NB Rivalry 2025

**Description:** Wurstroll NB Rivalry is excited to have it's debut in New Braunfels, TX, where grapplers of varying skill levels and ages can showcase their skills and abilities to compete for podium medals as well as a cash prize for 1st place. In our debut we will offer divisions for Gi brackets only. Whether you have several competitions under your belt or you are a first-time competitor, this is a great opportunity to challenge and test your jiu jistu.

This tournament is set to take place on Saturday May 17, 2025 - brackets will start at 10am. Please arrive at the venue at 9am for weigh-ins and tournament announcements.

To be eligible for the prize money, a competitor must win all of their scheduled matches in their bracket. Athletes that win their bracket will be awarded a 1st place medal and $200 cash.

Medals will also be awarded to athletes that place 2nd and 3rd in their division.

**Divisions available to register for:**

                80kg and under (Men, Gi)

                80kg and over (Men, Gi)

This tournament will feature two divisions that are organized by weight class. All ranks are welcome. Whether you are a white belt or a brown belt you can register for this event to have a chance at winning the 1st place medal and the $200 cash prize.

 Weight check will take place the morning of the tournament (beginning at 9am) before all brackets start. Once your weight has been confirmed, you will not have to weigh-in again for the remainder of the event. You may weigh-in without your Gi. Since there are only two divisions and you can weigh in without your Gi, no weight allowance will be provided. Choose your division appropriately.

This tournament will mostly follow the IBJJF point system. NO ADVANTAGES will be awarded in any matches during this event. To score points you must solidify and stabilize the position for at least 3 seconds.
