Head Professor Antonio Mota leads the academy with passion and extensive martial arts experience. Antonio began training in martial arts at age 8 with Kung Fu (Jeet Kune Do), followed by Judo at 10 and Capoeira at 15. He started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 16 in Mato Grosso, Brazil, where he became an Interstate Champion five times. After traveling through Europe for four years, he settled in Australia in 2007. Antonio received his brown belt from Venancio Jiu-Jitsu Academia Lider de Artes and earned his black belt under André Galvão, one of the most decorated competitors in BJJ history. Antonio also competed in MMA with a record of 3 wins (1 KO) and 2 losses. The coaching staff includes Richard Anchante (No-Gi specialist), Tom Yarwood (Striking), and Paulo (Kids Coach), providing expertise across multiple disciplines.
